The auxiliary option is done with a jack that is hard wired in the face of the unit.

| To access the auxiliary audio (mp3, satellite ect) insert one
side of the 3.5 male plug into the female 3.5 mm socket in the face. The
other end of the 3.5 male plugs into the 3.5 socket on the auxiliary
device. The auxiliary audio is hardwired into the radio after the tuner
it is not modulated. All volume and tone controls are functional.Model 2162
needs to be left on FM . To return to the radio unplug the male plug from
the female socket in the black box. |
